Held on Sunday 27th November, this unique fun run is nearly upon us.
Not only do you get to walk or run 5km around the Brisbane River, but you get to do it in a 5 piece Santa suit.
People all over Australia have been getting decked out in Santa gear to promote the event, including event ambassador Laura Geitz, skydivers over Redcliffe and even local running clubs.
Held for the first time in 2010, the event helps raise vital funds for Variety- the Children’s Charity – who support sick, disadvantaged and special needs kids here in Queensland.
Each month Variety receives over $250,000 worth of requests for services and equipment for families and the organisations that support them. With no direct government funding, Variety need our help – so why not sign up to support a good cause this Christmas season?
