Challenge yourself to one of the races at the Gold Coast Airport Marathon to be held on the first weekend in July. This year it is expected that over 25,000 people from 40 countries will take part in the Gold Coast Airport Marathon. On the program will be the full 42.195km Gold Coast Airport Marathon, Asics Half Marathon, Southern Cross University 10km Run, Gold Coast Bulletin 5km Challenge and Queensland Health 4km and 2km Junior Dash races for the kids. The Marathon course is flat, fast and scenic, taking in the golden surf beaches of Surfers Paradise, Broadbeach and Burleigh Heads and the glistening Southport Broadwater.
